10/29/17 – Love Differently – Love in Action

Loving God means loving people. God works in our lives to prepare us to impact our world by giving our lives away. When it comes to love, nothing is quite as intriguing as the motivation and style of love derived from God. Jesus showed us this radical and life-saving love through giving His own life away. As we recognize that Jesus’ radical love is directed toward us, it changes our outlook, lifestyle, and even who we love. We begin to love differently.

10/22/17 – Live Differently – A Radical Response

You may have heard about having a relationship with God or following Jesus. But how does it actually work for humans to interact with a God who is a spiritual being?

When we do life with God in real time, and interact with him as a personal friend instead of an impersonal force, it causes us to live differently. Our outlook on life and our priorities change dramatically.

In this series, Live Differently, we’ll get a clear picture of the tools God gives us to interact with him and what it means to live with God every day.

10/1/17 – See Differently – Defined and Directed

It’s funny how a small shift in thinking can change everything. Is the party super awkward, or is it a chance to meet someone new? Is this a problem, or an opportunity for a timely solution? Shifting our perspective in life can create progress. It’s the same with our spiritual outlook. When we’re able to see God for who he really is, it might be surprising how we begin to interact with him in a different way. How might a different understanding of God change our perspective on life and even our everyday interactions? Join us for the series, See Differently, as we investigate why someone who follows Jesus would see the world the way they do, and how seeing the world differently shapes their lives.

09/3/17 – The Good Kind of Weird – What about Love?

The “good kind of weird” can mean that we’re quirky, not quite on trend, and maybe even proud of it. It’s the kind of weird that makes someone say, “I’ve never seen kindness like that!” or, “I just met this person and they picked up my tab!”

Jesus’ life could definitely be described by the good kind of weird. Wherever he went, his radical love and revolutionary humility turned people’s heads. What if our lives could start to look a little more like that?

In this series, Good Kind of Weird, we’ll explore what it means to follow Jesus day-to-day and how that can make us seem “weird-in-a-good-way” as it transforms our lives.
