“What I learned is that, if I wanted to know God, not about him but really know him, I had to move. I had to make a choice and I had to seek him. I had to run after him with abandon. I needed to seek him out and spend time with him, not just praying about me, but knowing about what his plan was for my life so I could follow his will.” – Cynthia Terry
On this week’s episode of the Grace Unscripted Podcast, we get to hear the story of Cynthia Terry. From a young age Cynthia’s life was steeped in the church, but it was built around doing things for God. Through family connections and women’s retreats, God was chasing her heart down in a new way, whether she realized it or not. Listen in as Cynthia shares how God kept pursuing her heart and showing her what a life lived in pursuit of him looks like instead of a life lived doing things for him.
